30 Minutes ‘Til Showtime
Just had a great meeting with Rachel and her fiancé to go over the details of their upcoming June wedding, and now I’m passing the time doing a little online catch-up in Carribou Coffee on the square in Hudson. It’s Saturday, usually the busiest shift at the restaurant. As usual, I have a long list of things to prep, and recipés to look into before showtime. First up: make dough for 24 large pretzels. Yes, home-made pretzels. Mmmm! Next, prep, prep, prep. After that, set up all the stations for service. My position requires the juggling of so many different skills, from mangement of the kitchen to the finite aspects of crafting dessert recipés from scratch, multitasking is sort of out of the question. (I’m going to think on this concept a little more.) I’m excited about work!
